UPDATE: The woman involved in the near-miss with the speeding Lamborghini has come forward.
EARLIER:
It seems some woman was driving back to town at the junction of Highway 82 and Castle Creek Road on the night in question and nearly got wiped-out by the car. I know there are a ton of truly wealthy people in Aspen, movie stars etc., so maybe a Lamborgini doesn’t stand out as much as it would, say, in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. There has to be a police report, though, wouldn’t you think?
It’s been a long time, and maybe that was a lead the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Department followed and it just didn’t pan so they didn’t mention it?
Stay tuned!

I have a friend who is in local government over there and he’s looking into it. There are probably a few cars matching that description in Aspen, but according to the people at whokilledbriennecross.com, it is unlikely. The reason being that The Aspen New Times features a police blotter-like section every week, and that would problaby be mentioned.
Maybe yes, or maybe no. Jury’s still out which is why I’m checking ito out myself.
I Googled “Lamborgini” and “Aspen, CO,” and saw there’s a car rental place that leases out high-end-type cars, like Ferraris etc., even a Silver shadow. It’s called Moguls of Aspen Motors. I wonder if they rented out a car like that on the night in question.
Why did this woman com forward now?
I always thought the story was ture. There were too many rumors for it not to be, even saw it in the tabloids when it happened. The tabloids usually get thing right, just takes a while for it to come out, like with John Edwars.
I hope they find the rich sonofabitch who did this and hang him by his toes.
